just phoned these guys, about agreed value, limited mileage on my resto 309 gti

https://www.hertsinsurance.com/classiccars.php

very pleased with the qoute :D

had tried a lot of other so-called classic car insurers, and they wanted as much as it costs me for my 306 :-o

one company even said they couldn't quote me on a 309 gti, as it's not a classic. but they could on 205 gti 8-| *ankers

Trowbridge Cherished Car did 5000 miles/year, garaged on the drive, fully comp for £0 voluntary excess, windscreen cover and legal protection, no NCB ('cos I use it for my other policy), for £166. Didn't seem unreasonable. Best price was through a comparison website, cheaper than going direct.
